| The Vodafone Kingborough Tigers is a Premier League club in the AFL Southern Tasmania competition of Australian Rules football.

HISTORY
The Kingston Football Club was established in 1886 making it one of the oldest surviving Australian Rules football clubs in the country.
The club presently occupies the Kingston Beach Sports Ground, south of Hobart, which is known as the "Pit" as its home base.
In 1893 Kingston joined the Southern Tasmanian Football Association and played its first game in the STFA against North Hobart FC on May 4th 1895. The club competed in the Channel Football Association in 1908 then the Kingborough Football Association until 1966.
Following the disastrous bushfires in 1967 the club was joined by Longley FC.
1967 - Kingston absorbed the Longley FC. Kingston commenced in the Huon Football Association.
1991 (Huon Football Association) - Kingston were minor premiers at the end of the home and away series. Second Semi-Final - Kingston defeated Channel. Grand Final - Kingston defeated Channel.
1995 - HFA - Kingston participated.
1996 (Southern Tasmanian Football League) - Kingston commenced in the STFL.
Grand Final - Channel 12.15.87 defeated Kingston 11.4.70.
1997 - STFL Grand Final
Kingston 10.14.74 defeated Claremont 8.1.49.
2001 - Kingston participated in the SFL
2002 - Kingston participated in the SFL Premier League.

1894 - Scarlet and Dark Blue
1909 - Blue and White
1910 - Green and White
1920 - Red and Black, then Black and White and now Yellow and Black.

1930, 1933, 1936, 1948, 1953, 1958, 1960, 1961, 1965, 1966, 1980, 1991, 1995, 1997.
28th May 2000
On the 27th of May we celebrated the naming of our "TOP TIGERS TEAM" .
We announced the side voted on by a series of selectors as the TEAM chosen to be the best side between 1949 and 1999
