FUNCTIONS

Keep your eye out for committee people selling 2006 club tickets. This was a great success last year, and all ticket holders enjoyed a night out compliments of the footy club.

This year meals will be available at the club rooms after the games.

The bar at the club rooms is open on home games from 1pm – 12 midnight. Away games 6pm – 12 midnight. Sundays after away games 2pm – 6pm. Don’t forget the bar is also open on Thursday nights from 6pm – 10pm.

Our Vision Statement

Our aim and vision is to grow the game of Australian Rules football in the Dodges ferry, Lewisham and Primrose Sands area.

The population of the area is 3423 (from census report 1996) and as well as our Super Rules. Seniors and Reserves teams, we have two junior football teams playing.

The intention for next season is to have three under age teams playing. all sourced from our local area. Most of the boys playing in our junior teams are sons of ex-players.

Dodges Ferry is a community based club and will continue to work with youth in the area over summer. We will be running football camps to introduce a colts team into our club. Our under age coach Danny Boon has had experience at Senior level with Richmond and Dodges Ferry.

We also aim to upgrade our ground and have had top soil delivered and are in the process of spreading this and sowing grass on some areas.
